Game Play Senator Nominations are Open!

Well, fellas, I greatly appreciate the supported in my bid for Game Play Senator. Unfortunately, it went to Vincent76 whom was predicted to win anyways. While I don't know how much it was taken into account, my Nomination Thread was also plagued with trolls and even Badger attempted to make me look bad in my own thread, while he visited Vincent's Thread regularly and played him up.

Oh well, Lincoln lost more than he won, so I can a bit of consolation in that.

I'm going to apply to be a Moderator now. Oh Lexx, can I pester you for a promotion please so I have something to put down on my resume. Bovive, I'm going to register at your website now, any chance I could pester you for moderation abilities?

I sent an e-mail on your behalf. I tried out for the marksman correspondent position once. I had some stiff competition because the people I was running against had been very active on the marksman board whereas I hadn't. Hope you get it!

Yeah, there's some tough competition for GP Senator as well, especially against the likes of Vincent76, two-term Smuggler Senator, known Player Guide publicist, and Eveas, former Spy Senator, known number cruncher. But, if I base my 'platform' on knowledge and experience and avoid attacking my opponents (and especially stay away from controversy!), I think I may have a shot.

I never thought I'd be running a 'political campaign' via a forum though.

Well, if you don't win, I will petition for you to be added as a moderator to the gameplay board on these forums. I'm pretty sure that is about the same level of responsibility.

From the looks of it, just "email":

Send us an email at senator@soe.sony.com to nominate yourself or a fellow player for a senate position.

Of course:

Remember, players are not chosen based on the amount of nominations! You are not voting for a senator, but instead telling the team why that person should be chosen.
