Here is what I found: IMPERIAL

Access Imperial side from GUILD hall in the Aurallian village.

You can enter with 4 but don't and be buffed up , each member of the group has to talk to the snowtrooper to get in.
take a full group don't waste the effort, its on the same lock out as all other instances.

group make up:
Medic 1-2
LJ and DJ
DPS for the rest of the group, 1-2 commando makes for a nice sweep of enemies
SPY IS A MUST


Elements: energy and grenades

Phase I:
Focus for this phase are AV Mines, NPCS, Turrets and lastly snow speeders


All members get in their own ATST, pair up 2 left, 3 center, 2 right, one to float and monitor ATAT health and grab any mines missed by the others.
Focus on AVmines, NPC and turrets only forget the Snow speeders till you clear the field.

Note: i have gotten all but 1 ATAT todate using this method, the same center atat has been destroyed both attempts so it is my thought that a AVMine was missed as we cleared the battle field. if the floater is the spy they can also head to the base as soon as the Generator is targeted and make their way to the Grotto immediately.



Phase II: IN ECHO BASE USE YOUR NPCS
Objectives:

1) Destroy the medical supplies -Medical Center

2) Capture the command center -elevator in medical center to gain access

3) Destroy the food crates - GROTTO (spy)


4) Destroy the equipment stores- Equipment room adjacent to the lower hanger


5) Escort snow-troopers to the Main Hanger - lower hanger and upper hanger

6) Destroy the Ion Cannon - NPC handle this just fine

Enter the base: when you go down the first elevator watch out you will be ambusehed like mad, at one point on your over head map you will see a split left or right

Right side medical bay, wampa, elevator to Command Center, Cantina (dead Center with access to both hangers
Left side: Grotto, Ion Cannon and other entrance to Hanger.

You will see you have various objectives to complete and they are timed:

You want to split your forces at the Y junction in the lower level. Send SPY to the Grotto to destroy Food crates he must be fast about it if a ORANGE REBEL picks up a crate and removes it you fail to get them all, once done the spy moves on the equipment in the hanger back room.

The rest of your force needs to head to the Medical Center. Let the NPCS assist on both attempts, pull commanders and Guard into the NPC support.

once the med center is under control and the group is working on crates send a commando up to the Command Center have them shoot at the bombs till they are gone (3 bombs) 1 is left of the entrance so you have to take out a rebel commando to get a shot at it but its doable.

commando will join the group making a push through the cantina straight to the lower hanger for the equipment room
and then up to the upper Hanger where the millenium falcon sits and vader comes in.

Once medical bay is taken the group continues its push to the hanger, if the spy is unable to get to the Hanger from grotto they can move back to the group side.

note:we have seen issues with rubber banding when the spy tries to go to the hanger from the grotto

The ion cannon is an objective which doesn't require you to worry at all the NPC Snowtroopers will take it out for you.

there is a elevator which takes you to the evacs for Phase 3 you go up in this elevator in the hanger to access the evac transports.

Phase 3 Evacution:
take a side charge that side and move on keep pushing through the commandos and turrets Take out Barricades from a distance first as they give the NPC's a buff for defense.

You need to be aware of NPC movement stay away from the evac pilots let the NPC's deal with them.


Here is the order I take out the evac ships:

from left to right as they appear in front of you when you exist the base:

I find that going up the middle to the turrets infront of the first ship rather than a side also eliminates the agro of evac pilots, if you go left or right you run into them by the hordes and they can destroy a group fast. the last couple groups I was in we handled 3 and 4 together put a jedi and commando on each group and just kept them close for heal strength.

To get a evac ship vuln you need to kill the 2 phalanx guards and the commander of each evac ship once all 5 blown you are done if you want you can run back down to medical bay area and kill the lvl 95 wampa
and do the Wampa Instance.

4 people must stay in the instance to keep it open.

Side Quest:Sharp Shooter:

Reward: Radio

Major Kenki Spriow - Phase 1 - somewhere in the middle of the Battlefield.

Lieutenant Scohen Shnaus - Phase 2 - in the beginning of the base, in the hallway under the 2 turrets (under Downey and Scott).

Commander Kelkon Selavir - Phase 2 - standing at the end of the hallway where you go to the FIRST elevator thats on the left.

Captain Scodo Simas - Phase 2 - after the room where the first elevator brings ya ("gank room" is what I call it), the room after the hallway, he'll be standing near the terminals on the left side.

Lieutenant Alebry Slemic - Phase 2 - He stands in a room in the Command Center, probably lonely in there.

Side Quest: Frozen TaunTaun
Reward: Mounted TaunTaun Head

Through out the Wampa instance are 3 Frozen tauntaun bodies that spawn click on them to collect. They disappear after they are collected and you have to wait for a respawn.

There is one that spawn that is out on the north battle field and one up in the Evac area as well.

It is easier to just choose one member per instance run to work on this collection

Side Quest: Meteorites
Reward: Hoth Geod display

Through out the Wampa instance are 3 meteorites that spawn click on them to collect. They disappear after they are collected and you have to wait for a respawn.There is one that spawn that is out on the north battle field and one up in the Evac area as well.

It is easier to just choose one member per instance run to work on this collection

Side Quest: Malfunctioning Probe Droids
Reward: Holo-Pet Cube for a Probe Droid

1 is located in Wampa instance
3 located in Evac Area
1-2 are in North Battle Field


Side Quest: Kill Tauntauns (slayer)
Reward: Ice Scuplture Tauntaun for home display

3-4 Tauntaun Spawn in the Wampa instance.
Many left of lower entrance to echo base (where you enter for phase II) or right of the Beginning of the instance.

Agitators Hurt so the easiest way to get these are to run back out the base after you finish the instance and the wampa and jump in an ATST that is abandoned move over to Tauntaun Valley and just use the atst to destroy them. Each player has to make a strike on a tauntaun to get credit.

Side Quest: Wampa (slayer) must talk to guy in tent right side of entrance to wampa instance
Reward: Ice Sculpture Wampa for home display

I have only found wampa in the Wampa instance and the Entrance wampa is the only one of that kind so you have to kill him 25 times.
Again all players must strike a wampa being killed for the kill to count to their collection.
