GCW Region Defender!

Read this!

You have to admit, that's kind of cool. I am weary though that it'll be difficult to select one area to 'defend' given we have three cities (but only two are in zones of control).

Yeah, I was looking at that earlier. It's definitely cool. But like you said, not all of our cities are actually in regions. If I'm not mistaken, Fort Oasis is between two regions... Mos Espa and Fort Tusken. I suppose Mos Espa would be the preferred one to defend on Tatooine.

I'm pretty sure FO is in a specific region, albeit not a major one.

Nope, Lexx is right. It's between Fort Tusken and Mos Espa. I don't think any of its city limits extend to either zone either.

I've tested the Mos Espa borderline. It stops less than 100m from FO's city limit. I don't know about the Fort Tusken border.

I guess we're in no-mans land, lol.

It's weird they didn't at least make the Imperial Oasis a region of sorts.

I doubt the current devs even know Imperial Oasis exists. ;)

Hehe. :)

I'm thinking that Fort Keen might be a formidable opponent now for the Rebels and Keen's makeup may be a threat to the Rebels. (This doesn't include the various SF bases of both factions.)

Rebel Influences:
Hero's Legacy (city)
Freedom's Peak (city)
HERO (PA)
Our Gang (PA)

Imperial Influences:
Fort Keen (city)
Spectre (PA)
SixT (PA)
I-O-I (PA)

(Of course, this is assuming I convince all three to 'defend' the zone.)

With what I have seen, I think that we can take the planet no problem. Though if we can't we must blame Arev. And Kai! I'm sure she had something to do with this. Even though it has not happened!

Hehe. I'm not talking about the planet, Buren. I'm talking just that one zone in Fort Keen is in. It's probably one of the most hotly contested zones on Starsider.

Agreed. Though funny how I just thought "Regional" looked alot like the word "Regal"... it's too early in the morning for me to be thinking lol.

They'd have to remake the area for that spot throughout every server, since it'd be modifying the planet's mesh.

Teraforming would be nice. Probably won't happen though :(

I hear though that terrain will becoming more accomodating to buildings in an upcoming update though.
